Online and offline missions: what is the difference
How to understand which task format fits you.
Online missions are completed through a browser or app. They may include testing registration, checking a form, comparing public information, finding open sources or describing a user scenario. These tasks depend on attention, screenshots when needed and a precise written report. Offline missions are tied to a real place: a store, address, sign, local service or city situation. They often require a photo, short video or confirmation of observation without interference. Both formats must be legal and clear before work begins. The operator sees requirements, report format and conditions, then decides whether the mission fits. Complexity can vary as well: a simple product check takes less effort than a detailed app test or comparison across several services. That is why conditions should be visible before acceptance. The main difference is not where the operator sits, but what result is needed: a digital scenario or confirmation from a real location.
Understanding the format in advance helps the operator know what proof is needed and how much attention the mission will require.
